Please find enclosed the Picture book ‘Maya’s Summer in India’, for kids aged 3-6 years, written in 540 words. The story unravels as Maya prepares for a long flight to India to spend summer with her grandparents. Take a trip with Maya to the land of spices, the ‘honk-beep-bloot’ of the road traffic, juicy mangoes, the bonds of friendship and the mysterious disappearance of her Grandparent’s dog-Loha.
This realistic fiction is a humble attempt to introduce young children to the Asian Indian flavors- the people, culture, language, and the food. Additionally, this script can be a great tool for the parents/guardians to set the expectations ahead of India travel and equip the little children with just enough knowledge about the new country, without overwhelming them.
Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to read my query. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sounds like an intriguing story and I imagine it to be illustrated with an array of beautiful colours.
Here's a bit of feedback:
1) Delete the entire second sentence ('The story unravels as Maya prepares...'). It's too wordy and not necessary.
2) Third sentence, you could add India in here: 'Take a trip with Maya to India: the land of spices, the 'honk...'
3) I'm confused about the mysterious disappearance of the dog. Is that the main conflict in the book? The way you've stated it, it sounds like it's partially just an every day thing, and partially like it's a mystery that could be a story all on it's own. If you're wishing to introduce kids to the culture, I'm not sure what a missing dog has to do with that.
